The Last Day!

yup! it was the last day. woke up had our breakfast and packed up. cleaned the place. we were quite busy. had to be ready by 9 am. after everything was done, we got ready to get back to the city! well, not the city yet. we still had to hike for about 2 hours ++ to the drop off place. so after about 20 minutes, we were getting really thirsty. hmmm we were like where are all the water?? guess wat?? we had no water at all!!!!! nothing!! we were really thirsty after 20 minutes of hiking, wat about the rest of the 1 hour and 40 minutes?? crap! we were like oh noo! God help us. but well, we still had to go on right? no other choice. Ben choong was extremely annoying then. he was kinda getting on everyone's nerves. we were extremely thirsty and he still goes on talking. keeps saying "teh ais, ice lemon tea, coke....." gosh! we were already out of breath,thirsty and tired. and he keeps going on and on. told him to keep quiet but noo. he wont. he goes on and on again! aaaarghh.. LOL can strangle him.

but thank God!! we found a leaking pipe! the water was splashing our from it. maybe its a sign from God. we were like WATER!!! HELLELUJAH!! we were like should we drink it or not. but in the end we couldn't take, made up our minds to just drink it. we ask philip to sanctify it and we drank it! yup. it taste so good. nothing happen to us. so its all good. and then we were ready to hike up again. yay. hike hike hike. jeremy and ben khoo went off first. they walk super fast. while all of us were kinda taking our time. talked on the way. it was tiring coz of our bags but it was fun. after about 2++ hours, we heard the jeep. put all our stuff inside and philip,joben,ben choong and i were the first in the jeep. the others volounteered to keep walking. they walked for about 5 hours! crazy people. LOL. we also found jeremy and ben khoo in a nearby plantation. they were way ahead of us. they even bought a can of drink for RM10! that was how thristy they were.so the four of us got to reach Tanah Rata first,bought one big bottle of coke and we went straight to T-cafe again! the place rocks man. the food was superb. and once we reach there we ordered our food! some ordered for two person just for themselves. hmmm. how can they store so much? cool. LOL we were just hungry and tired. and we havent taste food like that after 4 days. hahahahah! waited for the others to come back. so joben,ben choong and i went around the place. while walking we founf STARBUCKS! yes yes. starbucks! gosh. we went straight in to buy drinks. yum. LOL. we were so happy to see it. teehee. the only interesting place there is starbucks. after seeing around, we went back to the cafe and ate scones. then off we went to the bus station.

we hope into our bus. it was badddd!! the aircond is not working well, the smell is horrible and the ride is just simply crappy. hmmm. the bus keeps stopping to pick up people. so the journey took really loong! after half of the journey, i had to switch place with matt lai since he had travelling sickness and i dont. hahaha! i'm perfectly healthy. LOL kidding! so i sat at the back with the rest of the guys. dont feel any dizziness through the journey. thank God!! yup.

once we reach puduraya. Gosh, i was just so happy! i'm back to KL! so yeah, saw Pr. Andy, Jay, Eunice, Alvin Keng, Arthur Keng. they came to fetch us home! so nice of them. Thank youu so much!! but before joben,jeremy and i reached home, alvin brought us to mcds. yeah! mcds! missed it loads. lol. after that, home sweet home! its so good to see my mom and my lil cat, jewel!. miss my bed and shower. i quickly cleaned up and went straight to my comfy bed.

so that pretty much all of my OA trip. had tones of fun. learned alot! great experience and would love to go there again! and to those of you who is reading these, i really encourage you to go one day. although there are a few "challenges" in the way. but in the end its worth it. you will learn alot and the experience is just awesome. you would not regret it. :)

third day of OA!

woke up few times all because of the rooster and the goat. it was making so much noise!! aarghh. all of us heard it. annoying. LOL. what to do? we are living at a place where chickens, goats, dogs and cats live together. hahaha! oh well. we woke up, wash up and ate our breakfast. got ready for morning service after that. and yup the service was good again! Sandra, Jeremy and Ben Choong share their testimony and Joy shared the word! great message. after that, the elder of the village came up to the stage, close in a word of prayer then said " we are gonna see a performance". we thought a performance by them but all of them were like looking at us. we were like omgosh! performance from us?? we didn't even get ready for it. so we had to come up with something fast. end up, we sang one of the malay praise song. and Jeremy rap and beatbox! few words in malay but mostly in english. guess they enjoyed it. LOL. something new for them.

after that, the days just went on. played with the kids again. played football. running here and there. planes here and there too. yup. had great time with the kids. they were just so adorable. about late afternoon, we went to river for our bath!. it was freazingly cold!!! the rocks and sand were painful. but it was all good after awhile. there was this kid who was catching a 'muture tadpole' . lol. it looks disgusting.cant believe we were swimming with them in the river. hahaha! but all was good. nothing happened. the kids even sunbathed on the rocks while waiting for us to finish. we were there for quite sometime coz it was our last day. enjoy it to the fullest.

after our washing up, we head back to the house. we had the whole night free. chit chat most of the time. sing our theme song 'high 5' . LOL *insided joke for this month OA team* hahahaha! ate, ate, ate.we brought alot of food there.so we kinda ate alot. thought we could lose some weight after the hike but nooo. we did not. the food was good. thanks to Joben, Sandra n Ben Khoo who prepared all our meals. :) so we grew weight because of them. they fed us well. LOL. THANK YOU!

second day of OA, woke up at 8, ate our breakfast. hang around for a while. Joy, Sandra and I had to get some snacks ready for the women ministry. we ate some while getting ready too. hehehe. well, women ministry was good. few women showed up, i had to read a bible story to them in malay. while sandra and joy shared. the women really like the snacks. they ate it all! yuummm! the guys played football with the kids. in the afternoon, we did children ministry. taught them how to spell and did some origami. maded a frog! they love it. they were all so cute enjoying themselves. running every where. made planes for them too. LOL.

evening time, we were waiting for the sunset. and suddenly we saw a rainbow!! it was so clear and beautiful. love it! it was like a full arch one. and that was when we really felt touched. i was like omgosh! seeing a rainbow is not often. and its just so pretty. i felt that God was there to protect us and i really appreciate everything i have now. although the people there are simple, but they still enjoy what they have. and here i am having so many things and sometimes i still want more. there, you can forget your internet,handphones and any technology stuff you have. seriously, its just so peaceful there.

so after a long time gazing at the rainbow, it got dark and we had to eat our dinner and get ready for service! the service was superb! it was simple but you still can feel God's presence was there. and you could see the people there are just so eager to be there and really hungry for God's word. its just amazing! ben khoo, matt lai and i shared our testimonies and joben shared the word. hahaha! he was good. the church was awesome too. the floor was like 3 feet above the ground and it was abit wobbly. joben was so scared just to stand on it.

after service, we head back to our house. had our supper and then we had our sing along to oldies time. joy and philip were impressed that we know loads of them. lol. very fun. all the hanson, mofatts, m2m and others. yup. sang loads of it. but we got tired of it so head to sleep. zzzz

hey hey hey!

holidays are over and school is back. yes i know its like four days since school started. haha! havent got time to blog.

so well, i have just got back from and orang asli mission trip in cameron highlands. it was simply awesome! had loads of fun and had a really great experience. learned alot from it. :)

first day, we had to wake up super early in the morning. i woke up at about 4.30 am. hahahah! too excited till i woke up to so early. got ready. did some last minute checking. bla bla bla. then at 6 went to pick up some people and off we go to Kelana Jaya LRT station. we waited there for the others. did a small meeting, checking and stuff. then we took a LRT to Puduraya. there we got into our bus and off we go to cameron! woohoo!. felt kinda scared coz i didn't know how the place where we were staying would look like. but still was excited since its my first mission trip without my parents and also staying there for 4 days and 3 nights. so once we reach Tanah Rata,Cameron. we went to T-cafe where we had our lunch. the food was good. we got to tweet there too! and after lunch we head to a pastor's place. he is funny and his lil kid is so so so CUTE!! the eyes are just HUGE! so adorable. anyway, there we had to wait for then to figure out how to bring us to the jungle. in the end we had to take a jeep. we had to make 2 rounds as there were 9 of us. and gosh, the journey to the jungle was so bumpy that i banged my head at the side of the car. it hurts!! there were four of us in the first ride with 7 huge backpacks! so it was really cramped inside. once we reach the drop off place, we had to wait for the others for 3 hours. coz the journey from the pastor's place to the drop off took about one and a half hours. so getting out of the jungle and coming back took 3 hours and the four of us got nothing to do at all. we were so bored. we played with ants, squirting them with sanitizer. yup, thats how bored we were. once the others came, it started to drizzle and it was about 7 pm. and to top that off, we had to hike in for 2 hours to reach the village. it was dark after sometime. and there were only 3 usefull lights while the others were kinda useless. hahaha! so the whole duration of the hike, i was just looking at the person's leg that was in front of me the whole time. it was scary!. the hike was rocky. downhill and uphill we go. and thank God i didn't sprain my ankle or fall. we didnt really rest long coz we really wanna reach our destination fast!. so we kept walking. once we reach the place, we were just so so happy!. we went straight to our house, put our bags down, sat and started eating our cold fried rice which we bought from the cafe in Tanah Rata. cold fried rice never taste so good in our entire lives. we were so hungry that we just didn't care about the coldness of it. hahaha! so we finished, talked, clean up and got ready to sleep. thats the end of the first day.
